Leland, Michigan – August 26, 2010 – Michelle’s Miracle Tart Cherry
Concentrate formed the basis for a signature cocktail served to over
1,200 guests at a recent Traverse City National Writers Series outdoor
food celebration fundraiser featuring Food Network star Mario Batali.
Held August 14 under a tent on the historic Front Lawn of the Village
at Grand Traverse Commons, “An Evening with Mario Batali,” featured
dishes inspired by recipes in Batali’s cookbooks. Batali personally
selected world-famous mixologist Bridget Albert, who created the signature
Traverse City “231 Harvest” cocktail exclusively for the event.
“Michelle’s Miracle added the perfect cherry kick to our seasonal cocktail.
It’s a tasty addition to lemonade, tea or even in your salad dressing,”
said Bridget Albert.
1 1/2 oz. Grand Traverse Wheat Vodka
2 oz. Northwoods Lemonade
2 bar spoons of Drunken Harvest Berries and Juice (see recipe below)
Northwoods Cream Soda
In a 10 oz. Ball canning jar, add the vodka and lemonade. Add Ice. Fill with cream soda. Top with two bar spoons of Drunken Harvest Berries (recipe below) with juice. Squeeze juice from one lemon wedge over the top. Stir.

PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur
In a container pour equal parts Michelle’s Miracle Tart Cherry Concentrate and PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur over berries. Cover and let rest overnight. Store in the fridge when not in use.
